Our Journey
Our journey began with Master Sheng Yen’s aspiration to bring Chan (Zen) meditation and Buddhist teachings to the heart of Manhattan. After years of visioning, planning, and perseverance, that dream is becoming a reality. With renovations underway, we are now building our community as we recruit new volunteers and create a host of beneficial programs.
